The 2018 NBA offseason feels like it’s over already, but it’s only July 5 and there’s a long way to go before the season.

So what can NBA die-hards focus on after all the big names went off the market? Let’s take a look:

1. Where will Kawhi Leonard be by Ocotber?

It feels like the San Antonio Spurs are slow-playing their hand here … and that’s exactly what they should do. There’s no reason to take first offers on the star forward and trade him. There might be a team or two who will up the ante and give the Spurs the kind of offer that would entice them to trade one of the best two-way players in the NBA. It would have to start with a big-name prospect and some future first-rounders … and there are a couple of teams who could offer just that.

2. What else do the 76ers and Celtics have in store?

How’s that for a segue? The East is WIDE open now that the Cavs have been dismantled, but these two are the odds on favorites to battle it out for the top spot. Will the Celts stick with their uber-deep roster that will get a healthy Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward back? Or will they deal one or two of their young…
