</p> </div> </div> <p class="speakable-p-1 p-text">Phil Ivey has a reputation for being one of the best bluffers in the world of poker, and incredible hands like this one are the reason why. Ivey manages to turn a pocket 5-2 offsuit into a huge pot, all by correctly reading the situation at the table.</p> <p class="speakable-p-2 p-text">In this clip from an episode of High Stakes Poker, pro Barry Greenstein raised $5.5k preflop with Queen-10 offsuit – but Ivey, sensing Greenstein didn’t have strong cards, raised to $18k with absolutely nothing.</p> <p class="p-text">Lex Veldhuis actually had the best pocket cards at the table with King-Jack of hearts, and after some deliberation raised to $51.6k.</p> <p class="p-text">Greenstein escaped with a small loss, but Ivey fearlessly asked Veldhuis how much he had left in his stack, then <em>went all-in</em>.
